Marion County Habitat for Humanity

Marion County Habitat is wrapping up it's 10th house. We are in the process of hiring a new construction manager. Once we have someone in place we will return to regular construction site hours. We hope to be operating normally by February. In the mean time, we are operating the work site with the help of some super awesome volunteer supervisors and we really appreciate all their efforts.

Our 8th annual golf tournament, sponsored by Alco Fence Inc. was a big success raising almost 10k. It was a beautiful day at Green Hills Country Club in Marion County and we are excited to announce the 9th year will be back at Green Hills on August 24, 2012. So mark your calendars! We are already looking for people to support the event.

We are also excited about our 2nd annual Valentine's fundraiser "Love Can Build a House" Dance and Dessert which will include a silent auction. The event will be February 10, 2012 at the Elks in Fairmont, starting at 7pm. We invite you to join us!

We are very excited about what 2012 has in store for Marion County Habitat including the 25th anniversary celebrations in WV that our State Support Organization is promoting. We would love to see your face on our work site, or if swinging a hammer isn't your thing, we are always in need of committee members, board members, and donors.
