Jackson County Habitat for Humanity

Jackson County Habitat for Humanity would like to thank everyone who participated in the building of the 600th WV Habitat house. The unbelievable generosity of our sponsors and donors totaled over $40,000 towards Amber and her daughters’ home. We would like to personally thank Hobba Enterprises, LLC for not only donating the property, but for the use of their heavy machinery and staff. Also, Wincore Windows and John Cremeans for donating all of the beautiful windows for the house and D. L. Williams Construction for all of their hard work on and off the roof. Last but not least, the WV BLAZERS!!!! The Blazers showed their extreme support on and off the court. They helped Jackson County raise funds for the house through the Slam Dunk 600 and even wielded hammers at the job site when we needed them.

Jackson County Habitat for Humanity would like to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, all of those who helped in this WV milestone! You help to make Jackson County immeasurably richer! We all Help Build It!

The 600th Habitat House dedication was held on May 9, 2010. Our affiliate is now taking partner family applications for our next project.
