Volunteer!
There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. All of them begin with contacting our office. Our Volunteer Coordinator, Donna DeHart, would love to hear from you so he can suggest ways you can help that might suit your talents and interests. These might include:
- Family Selection – Help make the important decisions regarding who will become Habitat homeowners.
- Family Support – Help families ease into a life of home ownership by helping families, one-on-one, or by assisting with training classes that impart life skills to families.
- ReStore - Our ReStore sells used and surplus building materials to help raise money for Habitat houses. Volunteers help stock shelves, assist customers and receive donations. Volunteering for the ReStore could also mean serving on one of our teams that provide professional support in marketing and product procurement. Click Here for more information about volunteering to help in the ReStore!
- Church Relations – Be the contact for your own faith community or help us reach other churches with the message of Habitat for Humanity.
- Other Ways- You might have your own ideas about how you can help us with your skills and interests. Let us know your ideas.
